FIND BELONGING. PRACTICE PURPOSE. BUILD COMMUNITY.
Starting October 2026, step into a 9-month catalyst designed for young adults (18–30) ready to deepen their relationship with Jesus, grow their leadership capabilities, and explore their calling within the local church. Through hands-on ministry tracks, theological learning, and personal mentorship, you won’t just find your place—you will build the skills to lead into the future.
Ministry Tracks
When you apply, you’ll select a focus area where you will work directly alongside an assigned staff lead to build concrete skills:
Worship: Master service programming, lead volunteer team rehearsals, and develop your musical and platform leadership.
Youth: Shape the next generation by building communities, mentoring teenagers, and designing high-energy weekly environments.
Kids: Partner with families to build a faith foundation for children through creative storytelling and dynamic early-childhood programming.
Media: Master the creative engine of the church through live production, audio/visual engineering, social media strategy, or video storytelling.
Entrepreneurship: Learn the strategic framework of launching new initiatives, project coordination, budget management, and marketplace ministry leadership.
Why CTFB Academy?
Deep Discipleship: Move past Sunday mornings. You’ll dive into theological learning and character development that helps you truly own your faith.
Real Responsibility: We don’t do busywork. You will be embedded directly into a staff team, taking on real projects and learning what it takes to run a vibrant church.
1-on-1 Mentorship: On day one, you’ll be paired with a dedicated mentor who meets with you monthly to support your soul care, track your personal goals, and champion your growth.
The Weekly Rhythm
We know that surviving as a young adult requires flexibility. CTFB Academy is intentionally designed as an unpaid, bi-vocational program so you can protect your schedule and earn a living.
1 Day a Week (On-Site): Every [Insert Day, e.g., Wednesday] from 9am – 5pm. This includes your theological cohort learning, staff meeting integration, and practical track tasks.
Sundays: Serving, leading, and executing live environments during Sunday services.
Your Part-Time Job: The rest of the week (3–4 days) is entirely yours to work an external job to fund your personal upkeep.
Note: We provide all accepted interns with an official fixed-commitment letter to give to external hospitality or retail employers to ensure your academy days are protected.
